Hi there, my name is Tamara. I live in Nome, Alaska, on the coast of the Bering Sea. Somehow you’ve stumbled across this page, likely due to one of my creative outlets. Here you’ll find photography, jewelry, journals, and slice-of-life posts.
I am not a professional photographer. I once jokingly told my family that if I ever start a photo business, it would be called “Happy Accident Photography!”
With that being said, Nome has some beautiful families that I have had the privilege of photographing.
You’ll find some of their faces here on this blog.
Follow regularly and you’ll also learn some unique and quirky things about this community I’ve grown to love.
Click through the links at the top to sort through my creative outlets.
Daily SeaGlass is a journaling project I’ve done a couple summers, based around finding a piece of seaglass every day in Nome.
Sky and Sea Designs displays my jewelry pieces. Not all are currently for sale, but feel free to comment if interested in a piece!
#NomeLife will give you a slice of life in Nome, Alaska.
Photography offers a glimpse into some beautiful people and their families here in the Norton Sound Region.
